The United States Postal Service (USPS) recently unveiled its first set of electric vehicles at its South Atlanta Sorting and Delivering Center (S&DC), in an event also attended by White House officials. The occasion was visually enhanced with USPS-branded fleet graphics provided by Lowen Color Graphics, the nation’s largest fleet graphics manufacturer.
USPS recognizes the pivotal role of consistent branding in national presence and public perception. This commitment to a unified visual identity has been a driving force in their long-standing partnership with Lowen over many years. Lowen’s deep understanding of the USPS’s branding requirements and their proven track record of delivering high-quality fleet graphics and nationwide installation services were key to the execution of this critical project and high-visibility launch.
“In every neighborhood in America, people know their post carrier and recognize the USPS vehicle driving down their street,” said John Podesta, Senior Advisor to the President for Clean Energy Innovation and Implementation.
With a short turnaround time to wrap 50 new electric vehicles, Lowen faced a daunting logistical challenge with high stakes. Demonstrating agility and a commitment to customer service, Lowen’s skilled team of project managers, craftsmen and installers worked tirelessly to ensure every vehicle was ready for their public debut.
“Our team is committed to ensuring fleet graphics are the easy part of our customer’s jobs,” said Tracy Metzger, Lowen President and Chief Operating Officer. “From concept to delivery, our customers know they can entrust our team with their brand image, and we honor that trust with precise execution of every detail in the project.”
This first rollout of the nation’s largest electric fleet is part of a 10-year Delivering for America® plan to modernize the nation’s postal network which will include more than 66,000 USPS electric delivery vehicles.
