Warren Theaters Grand Format Graphics

The Warren Theaters in Kansas and Oklahoma, wanted to transform original oil paintings into large scale murals that would enhance the building’s unique architecture and opulent decor.

First, the Warren took pictures of the original oil paintings and converted them into hi-res digital files which were then uploaded at Lowen’s FTP site. Lowen scaled the art to meet the required dimensions and also made sure that the skin tones and vibrant colors matched the artist’s original concept. To meet the critical required dates, the artwork was digitally printed with a matte finish to give the illusion that these are original pieces of art.

These beautiful art deco murals can be seen in various Warren locations throughout the theaters and are an elegant design that adds to the Warren Theatre movie-going experience.

Techsphere Grand Format Graphics

Lowen Color Graphics was excited when they were presented with the Microsoft Techsphere. Designed to fly over stadiums and arenas was a project to showcase Lowen's ability to cover virtually any surface with an impactful visual, regardless of size or dimension.

Lowen printed more than 2,000 48" by 54" vinyl panels to cover two airships. Each airship was made of more than 10 thousand feet of vinyl, which was no problem for our digital presses. Two of our digital printers ran for 24 hours a day for an entire week to get the project finished.

The airship replicates the two dimensional Microsoft logo in 3D form. On the ground, it towers over you and in the air it would be easy to see above any stadium. Although Microsoft never flew the airship, this project is still one of the most unique we've been presented with and shows our versatility in graphic needs.
