• Sheep Thrills and Raving Bulls Wrap the Kansas State Fair Van

    Sheep Thrills and Raving Bulls have led people to the Kansas State Fair since 2010. As part of the branding concept, the KS Fair wanted to make sure their new Mobile Marketing Unit was dressed appropriately to hit the road.

    They called Lowen Color Graphics for the job. We’re home based in Hutchinson, Kan.- only a few blocks away from the fair grounds and the Kansas State Fair team, who has worked with us before on printing needs, knew they would get nothing short of excellence. From print to install, we had the whole project covered-literally.

    The graphics for the van were initially created by Greteman Group, a branding agency located in Wichita, Kan. We used those same graphics and created a template that would match the vehicle’s body perfectly.

    The Raving Bull is on one side of the van while Sheep Thrills is on the other. Each side shows different snap shots the reflect what people are drawn to the most: the rides, food, animals and concerts.

    The pictures were leaked via Twitter and Facebook prior to the Kansas State Fair seeing the actual van. They were immediately thrilled- and so were their fans!

    “The Kansas State Fair wanted to ensure the Sheep Thrills and Raving Bull graphics were consistent and the messaging reflected the entire Kansas State Fair brand. Lowen Color Graphics [and] Lowen Certified exceeded our expectations,” said Lori Mulch, the assistant manager at the Kansas State Fair.
