Design Excellence
Our designers are equipped with software that is compatible with any advertising or design agency. We’ll utilize your logo, slogan and product pictorials to develop a concept, and then e-mail it to you for review. With our digital graphics systems, we also have the ability to produce full-size, full-color prototypes, so you know exactly what the end product will look like.
If you have your own creative elements, upload them or send them to us on a disk. We’ll scale them to achieve the best possible use of materials and help you stay within budget. Prior to final production, we’ll send you a layout for final review. It’s all in the name of our pledge to provide a single-source graphics solution.
Lowen wins third consecutive “Best in Show” award at international competition
For the third year-in-a-row, Lowen Color Graphics has been honored by the Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) with the 2002 Andre Schellenberg Award for “Best in Show.” To win “Best in Show” in this competition, entrants must have a spectacular image that utilizes digital printing in a unique way that outshines all of the other entries from companies around the world.
Representing the best work produced in the digital printing, imaging and graphics industry, winners of this year’s Andre Schellenberg Competition were selected at DPI’s tenth Annual Conference & Exhibits held March 6-9, 2002 in Palm Springs, CA.
Lowen Color Graphics won “Best in Show” for the third consecutive year for their “Lepidoptera” display featuring artwork designed by Chad Beatty, Design Artist. The display was created with digitally printed images mounted to three layers of clear Lexan material. The layers add a dynamic, three-dimensional effect.
“After winning the award for the second year in a row in last year’s competition, we knew we would need to create a spectacular entry for a shot at winning it again,” said Darren Keller, Marketing Manager. “The concept was developed by our graphic artists and engineered by a group of people from our production and research and development departments. To win this award for three straight years is a feat we didn’t think was possible. We couldn’t be more honored.”
Lowen wins second consecutive "Best In Show" award at international competition
ATLANTA - Lowen Color Graphics, a division of Lowen Corporation based in Hutchinson, KS, has been honored by the Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) with the highest possible award at the international Andre Schellenberg Digital Art Competition.
Representing the best work produced in the digital printing, imaging and graphics industry, winners of this year's Andre Schellenberg Gallery of Digital Art Competition were selected at DPI's ninth Annual Conference & Exhibits held April 4-7 at AmericasMart in Atlanta, Georgia.
Lowen Color Graphics won "Best In Show" for the second consecutive year for their "Peel Away" display showing two Corona Beer bottles ripping through the side of a truck. The display was created with digitally printed images mounted to layered foam board and placed behind a sheet of aluminum that had been cut and "peeled" back to reveal the printed images.
"We originally produced this design as a one-dimensional image that was digitally printed and applied to the sides of Corona delivery trucks," said Darren Keller, Marketing Manager. "We wanted to show our variety of capabilities with digital printing, mounting, cutting and finishing, so we brought the one-dimensional image to life in three dimensions, using aluminum and literally peeling it back as if the bottles of Corona had ripped through it. We were absolutely thrilled when our industry peers selected our entry for "Best In Show" for the second year in a row!"
Named in honor of one of DPI's founders, the Schellenberg Gallery is the graphic highlight of the Digital Printing & Imaging Association's Annual Conference & Exhibit. Entries reflected submissions in categories for digital photo print; electrostatic; ink jet; transfer; textile and other specialized media; unique applications; and fine art graphics. This year's conference was attended by over 800 people representing 35 countries.
Lowen Color Graphics designs and manufactures graphics for some of the nation's largest trucking fleets in addition to large-format commercial graphics including wall murals, backlit displays, banners, window graphics, and presentation graphics for promotional applications. Lowen Corporation is currently in its 51st year of business.
